Daring Cardmakers-Starting From Scratch

Posted by manicstamper on May 19, 2007

This week’s challenge has been set by Tracie and we have to make a card using no purchased or pre assembled embellishments such as blooms, buttons and brads etc.
Playing safe I decided to go right back to basics and have made everything myself on this card.
The background papers are hand drawn with the help of a ruler for the lined one.
The colouring has been done with Adirondack ink pads in Stream and Lettuce for the background papers and Red Pepper and Cranberry for the embellishments.
Accents have been added using a white gel pen.
What a brilliant challenge. I had a great time doing this one.
Thanks Tracie
